The University of Texas at Austin Tower will turn burnt orange May 4 to celebrate the Men’s Golf team’s recent Big 12 title.
Earlier this week, the team claimed their fourth straight Big 12 Championship and 47th overall after all five players finished the day at or under par at 14-under for the weekend — the most subpar rounds in a single round in Big 12 Conference history.
On May 1, the Tower also turned orange to celebrate the Men’s Golf team as they returned to campus from winning the Big 12 title, but the lighting lasted until only 9 p.m. because of a previously scheduled event. The lighting on the night of May 4 will last until sunrise on May 5.
