The UT Tower will shine with orange lights Friday, March 24 in honor of three individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to the university.
This year, President Gregory L. Fenves is honoring Ardon Moore, Sandy Gottesman and Colonel Leon Holland with Presidential Citations.
“It is my sincere pleasure to recognize them for all they have done for UT with one of the university’s highest honors,” Fenves said in a message to the UT community earlier this month.
The university created the citations in 1979 to recognize the extraordinary contributions of individuals who personify the university’s commitment to transforming lives. The citations salute those whose service exemplifies the values shared by the university community and who have helped the institution to achieve its mission.
