Poster with four student images shown and a title that says 2017 Men's Swimming & Diving National ChampionsThe UT Tower will be lit in burnt orange with a numeral “1” on all four sides this evening (March 26) to commemorate the Texas men’s swimming and diving program’s 13th NCAA team title. 

Per campus tradition, the University recognizes UT sports programs with a burnt orange lighting of the campus landmark with the numeral “1” appearing on the building’s four sides when a Longhorns team claims a NCAA team title.

Saturday night, Texas won its third consecutive national title and 13th overall, which moved UT out of a tie with Michigan for No. 1 all-time in men’s swimming and diving championships.

The team is scheduled to take group photos this evening in front of the Littlefield Fountain on 21st Street at approximately 8:15 p.m. CT. Head coach Eddie Reese and selected student-athletes will be available to the media at approximately 7:45 p.m. Media are recommended to be in place at the Littlefield Fountain by 7:30 p.m.
