The UT Tower will shine with orange lights Sunday, July 23 in recognition of Jordan Spieth’s win at the 2017 The Open Championship on Sunday.

Spieth won the Masters championship and the U.S. Open Championship in 2015 and has an opportunity now to become the youngest player in history to win a Grand Slam at next month’s PGA Championship.

He is the youngest player to win The Open at 23, finishing at 12-under 268 and becomes the first player to post all four rounds in the 60s at Royal Birkdale, which was hosting its 10th Open.

Spieth played at Texas during the 2011-12 season and helped lead the Longhorns to the 2012 National Championship.
