The UT Tower will shine with burnt-orange lights Thursday, April 20 in honor of the recipients of the 2017 President’s Staff Awards.
Combined, the honorees at this year’s awards program have been serving the university for more than 15,000 years. The Staff Service Awards Program celebrates and recognizes the contributions of committed staff who are responsible for transforming lives for the benefit of society.
“You make life here on The Forty Acres possible on every level — for our students, for our faculty, for our alumni and the thousands of visitors we welcome every day,” President Gregory L. Fenves told honorees during an awards ceremony earlier in the day. “So, on behalf of The University of Texas: thank you.”
