Since 1937, the UT Tower has been lit to celebrate the academic and athletic accomplishments of Longhorn students, faculty, staff and alumni, and mark University milestones, illuminating the Tower on the Austin skyline.

Texas Football Beats Ole Miss at Home, 34-27

The top of the UT Tower will shine burnt orange on Saturday, October 24, to celebrate Texas Football’s win over Ole Miss. Per tradition, an orange top on the Tower signifies Longhorn football’s regular season and bowl game victories.
