UT Women's golf team with trophy. The UT Tower will be drenched in burnt orange lighting on Wednesday, April 25 in recognition of The University of Texas women’s golf team’s Big 12 Championship, captured this past Sunday in Dallas.

Per UT tradition, the UT Tower is bathed in burnt orange lighting from top-to-bottom when a University of Texas athletics team wins a conference championship.

The No. 7 Longhorns totaled a 16-over-par 880 (295-292-293) to win their fifth all-time Big 12 Conference Championship.

Texas has won back-to-back Big 12 Conference Championships, becoming the first team since Oklahoma State in 2008 and 2009 to win two in a row. Texas has won Big 12 Conference Championships in 1997, 2004, 2011, 2017 and 2018.

Texas returns to action when it competes in the NCAA Regional May 7-9 at the University of Texas Golf Club in Austin. The complete NCAA regional field will be announced Wednesday, April 25 at 4:30 p.m. CT on Golf Channel.
