Tower Shines for Texas Exes Ring Celebration
The UT Tower will glow in burnt orange Thursday, April 25 as a new Longhorn tradition begins with the Texas Exes Ring Celebration.
For the first time, the class rings will spend the night in the UT Tower, which will be lit in recipients’ honor. UT President Gregory L. Fenves will ceremoniously install the rings in the Tower. The following day, the Ring Celebration will begin with the rings coming out of the Tower, ready for students to wear.
The class ring not only symbolizes the incredible education alumni have received and the experiences that have shaped them, it is also a daily reminder to change the world.
