The University of Texas began its 127th season of football on Saturday, August 31 with a win against Louisiana Tech at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium (DKR). Tonight, the UT Tower will shine with a burnt-orange top to celebrate the Longhorns 45-14 win over the Bulldogs.
As part of UT tradition, the top of the Tower turns orange to celebrate regular-season football victories. Texas Football will have another opportunity to light the Tower when they play LSU on Saturday, September 7 at 6:30 p.m. CT in DKR. Visit TexasSports.com for more information on the team’s upcoming games.
