The UT Tower will shine with burnt orange lights Monday, March 30 to welcome students for their first day of classes after the extended Spring Break.

The spring semester resumed earlier in the day with all UT courses held online amid the ongoing COVID-19 emergency.

“Monday is a continuation of your studies as well as a new beginning.” President Gregory L. Fenves wrote in a letter to students. “You will rise to the occasion and thrive in your academic work. You will make the most of this opportunity, and I wish you all the best during the remainder of this unprecedented semester.”
