Light the Tower: Thanking Health Care and Front Line Professionals

The UT Tower will shine with burnt orange lights Thursday, April 9 as part of a global show of support and gratitude to those health care professionals and essential workers caring for us on the front lines.

As part of the #LightItBlue campaign, buildings and landmarks across the globe are displaying blue lights at 8 p.m. as a salute to healthcare providers. We are not able to use blue lighting on the UT Tower tonight.

We have immense gratitude for all the essential workers fighting COVID-19 on the frontlines, with a special thank you to our healthcare workers at UT Health Austin and Dell Seton Medical Center.
