The UT Tower will shine with burnt orange lights Wednesday, May 12 in honor of the recipients of the President’s Staff Awards.

The President’s Staff Awards formally recognizes staff of The University of Texas at Austin in four categories:

• Staff Service,
• Outstanding Staff,
• Outstanding Supervisor, and
• Student Employee of the Year

“What you do to help keep UT Austin running smoothly truly makes a positive difference for students, faculty and other staff members every day,” President Jay Hartzell said in an email to staff members. “Where you are working on campus or working remotely, you make a difference in the state of Texas and it has a direct effect on how we continue to change the world.”
