The UT Tower will shine with burnt orange lights Tuesday, May 10 in celebration of two athletic club teams for winning national titles.

Texas Taekwondo won the Novice & Combined categories at the 2022 NCTA National Collegiate Taekwondo Championships, and Texas Quidditch earned the title of US Quidditch Cup 2022 Collegiate National Champion.

Texas Taekwondo is a university-affiliated RecSports club, and membership is open to currently enrolled UT students.

Longhorn Quidditch — the organization encompassing all quidditch at UT — is divided into two components: traveling teams and house teams. The organization has have two traveling teams: Austin Quidditch and Texas Quidditch. Those two teams compete against other college programs around the state and country.
