Light the Tower: Texas Track and Field Wins 2024 Big 12 Women’s Indoor Track and Field Championship
The UT Tower will shine with burnt orange lights Saturday, February 24, 2024, in honor of Texas Track and Field winning the 2024 Big 12 Women’s Indoor Track and Field Championship. The Longhorns claimed the title for the fourth time five years, and this championship is the 14th overall for the team.
Per tradition, the University recognizes UT sports programs who win a conference team championship with a burnt orange lighting of the campus landmark. Because of temporary technical difficulties, only the top of the Tower will turn orange for this lighting.
