The UT Tower will shine with burnt orange lights Sunday, November 12 to celebrate Texas Soccer wining the SEC championship.

Per University tradition, the campus landmark is bathed in orange when a Texas athletics team wins a conference championship.

With the win, Texas Soccer became the first athletic program at Texas to win a SEC championship since the University joined the new league on July 1, 2024.

The win also marks just the second time in program history that the Texas women’s soccer program has won a conference postseason tournament in back-to-back seasons. The Longhorns won Big 12 postseason conference tournaments in back-to-back seasons in 2006 and 2007.
