An Enduring Impact: Celebrating the Hildebrand Family’s Extraordinary Support

With investments that span the entire University, the Hildebrand Family will be honored on Thursday, April 17, with the lighting of the UT Tower, which will shine burnt orange lights and display a 100 on one side.
Alumni and longtime supporters of The University of Texas at Austin, Mindy and Jeffery Hildebrand have had an extraordinary and enduring impact. Having surpassed $100 million in giving, they have provided transformational support for the McCombs School of Business, the Cockrell School of Engineering, Texas Athletics and several other programs.
They have made recent investments in McCombs, to support its MBA program, establishing the Hildebrand MBA program, and to support the program’s new home, Mulva Hall (opening in 2028), creating the Hildebrand Terrace. Additionally, the family has established the Lori Holleran Steiker Endowed Director’s Chair for SHIFT, a UT program that aims to transform the campus environment into an empowered culture of mindful decision-making and open conversations about substance use. The Hildebrands have also provided a challenge match for endowments to support and expand SHIFT initiatives.
The Hildebrand Family has a lasting impact on our University and their continued support is opening new pathways across campus.
