The UT Tower will shine with burnt orange lights Monday, April 10, 2023, in honor of this year’s recipients of the President’s Staff Awards.

The President’s Staff Awards formally recognize staff of The University of Texas at Austin in four categories: Staff Service, Outstanding Staff, Outstanding Supervisor, and Student Employee of the Year.

Staff Service Awards

The University of Texas at Austin Staff Service Awards program recognizes the importance of the contributions of loyal and committed staff to the continuing success of the university. Recognition is based on length of service.

The 2023 recipient list contains over 800 employees with 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, and 55 years of service with the university. See the Staff Service Awards website for more information on eligibility and details about the program.

Outstanding Staff Awards

The University of Texas at Austin Outstanding Staff Awards program honors and recognizes the invaluable contributions of outstanding staff members who have had a significant impact on the university. See the Outstanding Staff website for details on this program.

Outstanding Supervisor Awards

The University of Texas at Austin Outstanding Supervisor Awards program honors and recognizes the invaluable contributions of outstanding supervisors who have had a significant impact on the university. See the Outstanding Supervisor website for details on this program.

Student Employee of the Year Award

The President’s Student Employee of the Year Award is given annually to an outstanding student employee who has made a positive impact on the university and has demonstrated an exceptional quality of work and commitment to the university’s purpose and core values.
