The UT Tower will shine with burnt-orange lights Tuesday, March 12 to celebrate the Texas Women’s Basketball team winning the 2024 Phillips 66 Big 12 Women’s Basketball Championship.

The Longhorns defeated the Iowa State Cyclones, 53-70 to win the conference title. Texas has now won 12 tournament championships in the history of the program.

As part of campus tradition, the Tower is bathed in burnt orange lighting from top-to-bottom when a University of Texas Athletics team wins a conference championship.
