Following approval from the UT System Board of Regents, the multiyear effort to restore, revitalize and reimagine the historic Tower began in November 2024 and is estimated to last through summer of 2027.
Restore, Revitalize, Reimagine.
We will restore the exterior of the Tower and Main Building to its original grandeur. We will enhance the Tower experience for the UT community and campus visitors by revitalizing key interior spaces. We will reimagine the spaces surrounding the Tower, building on the original 1933 master plan while supporting modern University life.
