Tower Shines for Rowing Team’s Big 12 Title

Texas Rowing Team

The University of Texas at Austin Tower will be lit burnt orange on May 15 in recognition of the Longhorns’ sixth Big 12 rowing title.

For the second time in as many league championship regattas, no. 8 Texas captured all five races as they won the 2016 Big 12 Championships on Sunday morning on Melton Hill Lake in Tennessee. UT also won the NCAA automatic-qualifier standings and secured its second straight trip to the NCAA Championships.
