The UT Tower will shine with burnt orange lights Wednesday, March 6 to honor the Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving teams for winning the Big 12 Championships.

The men’s swimming and diving team won its 40th-straight conference championship and 23rd Big 12 title, while the women’s swimming and diving team won its seventh-straight, and 17^th overall, Big 12 title.

Per UT tradition, the campus landmark is bathed in burnt orange lighting from top to bottom when a University of Texas athletics team wins a conference championship.

The University of Texas will be hosting the 2019 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships in Austin with the women going from Mar. 20-23 and the men from Mar. 27-30.
