The U.T. Tower shines with burnt orange lights with "24" on its sides in 2020 to welcome the Class of 2024 for the Forty Acres.

The UT Tower will shine with burnt orange lights and “24” on its sides for two nights in a row to celebrate this year’s graduates.

The Tower will first turn orange during the University-wide Commencement celebration on Saturday, May 11 and will again shine in the same special lighting configuration on Sunday, May 12.

The last time the Tower displayed “24” on its sides and was drenched in burnt orange lighting, the Class of 2024 was gathered on the Main Mall in 2020 for the Gone to Texas celebration welcoming the incoming students to the Forty Acres.
