The UT Tower will shine with burnt orange lights on Sunday, May 11, to celebrate No. 2 Texas Rowing winning the 2025 Southeastern Conference Championship. This is the team’s 10th consecutive conference title and its first SEC championship. The victory clinches Texas’ 14th overall conference crown as the Longhorns placed first out of four teams in the inaugural SEC Rowing Championship (No. 2 Texas, No. 4 Tennessee, No. 24 Oklahoma and Alabama).

As part of campus tradition, the Tower is bathed in burnt orange lighting from top-to-bottom when a University of Texas Athletics team wins a conference championship.
