The UT Tower will shine with burnt orange lights Sunday, September 18 to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Air Force ROTC at the University of Texas.

Air Force ROTC at the University of Texas was established the same day that the US Air Force became a military service in 1947. This year, the US Air Force and AFROTC Detachment 825 celebrate their 75th birthdays.

AFROTC at UT has a long tradition of distinguished graduates who have made an impact in our Air Force and in our nation. In addition, there is a growing population of Air Force veterans who are proud to call this University home as students or faculty members.
