The Longhorn men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams took home Big 12 titles last weekend

The UT Tower will be lit Friday, March 6 to honor The University of Texas men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams for winning Big 12 titles last weekend at Aquatic Center at Mylan Park in Morgantown, West Virginia. 

The No. 1 men’s program took home their 41th-straight conference championship with 1127 points, while the women earned their eighth-straight Big 12 title with 1012 points.

Per UT tradition, the campus landmark is bathed in burnt orange lighting from top to bottom when a University of Texas athletics team wins a conference championship.

The University of Texas will head to the 2020 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships with the women going from Mar. 18-21 in Athens, Georgia, and the men from Mar. 25-28 in Indianapolis, Ind.
