The UT Tower will shine with burnt orange lights Tuesday, March 4, 2025, in honor of both Texas Men’s Swimming and Diving and Texas Women’s Swimming and Diving winning the SEC Championships.

In its inaugural appearances, the No. 1 Texas Men’s Swim and Dive program totaled 1,474.5 points, 149.5 points ahead of second-place Florida (1,325), and the No. 2 Texas Women’s Swim and Dive program collected 1,450 total points, 271 points over second-place Florida (1,179).

An earlier Tower lighting celebrated the team’s title on the day of the match (Saturday, February 22). Tonight’s lighting will happen while the team gathers at the Tower for a group picture.

Per University tradition, the campus landmark is bathed in orange when a Texas athletics team wins a conference championship.
